IN-FLOOR HEATING

floor heat

In-Floor heating consists of PEX tubing laid under the surface in a series of loops. PEX is polyethylene tubing that's leak-free, non-toxic, flexible and capable of handling high temperatures. These loops are spaced accordingly and run back to zoned manifold designated for that area of your house. A sensor is installed in the floor with the PEX tubing at each manifold, allowing you to control the amount of in-floor heat in each area of your home separately from programmable thermostats. Your boiler or water heater is then linked to each manifold to supply water to the loops.

In-floor heating is not only an amazing comfort feature, but also a very functional form of radiant heating.

SNOW MELT SYSTEM

snow melt

A typical snow melt system consists of PEX tubing and a heat source (water heater or boiler). The PEX tubing is evenly laid down and secured under various types of exterior surfaces. When hot water runs through the PEX, it gives off heat and warms the surface which causes snow to melt. The size, layout, and spacing of PEX tubing and water flow are directly correlated to the heat source and square footage of the area tubing is being installed. This is a great feature to apply to a steep pitched drive way, walk path up to a house, or where snow removal is difficult due to confined areas and limited space to pile the snow.

No more early mornings with that pesky snow blower, shovel, and rock salt!

POOL ROOM DEHUMIDIFICATION AND HEATING

pool

Indoor pools and hot tubs can provide countless opportunities for fun filled days with friends and family. Therefore, it is crucial that all the proper safety precautions are made when deciding to install an indoor pool or hot tub. When a pool is in an enclosed space, numerous factors such as ventilation, air flow, water heating, dehumidification, and many more need to be considered. Just as your pool will need to be maintained to keep it in suitable condition, the air quality in the space will also need to be addressed. Having an indoor pool dehumidifier in the area is imperative or you run the risk of mold (health issues), structural damage, and an uncomfortable environment due to moisture and humidity levels. Dehumidification is accomplished by moving air from the room through the dehumidifying coil which lowers the air temperature below its dew point. Moisture will condense on this coil thus removing a large portion of the moisture from the air.

GEOTHERMAL SYSTEM

geo

Wherever you live, the temperature beneath your home remains constant regardless of the season. Geothermal heat pump systems harness the stable underground temperature to provide heating, cooling, and hot water at remarkably high efficiencies. So high, in fact, that energy use can be cut by up to 80%. A series of pipes, called a loop field, is installed into the earth below the frost point where a constant temperature is achieved. In the winter, water circulating in the loop field absorbs heat from the earth and carries it to the heat pump, where it is concentrated and sent as warm, comfortable air throughout your home. In the summer, the heat pump absorbs heat from the air in your home and transfers it to the loop fields where it is absorbed by the earth. This provides cool, dehumidified, and comfortable air throughout your home. Your geothermal loop is custom designed to fit your exact needs and available space.
