Geothermal

Geothermal systems are extremely efficient, environmentally friendly, last longer than traditional HVAC systems and usually qualify for financial incentives either from a local or federal standpoint. Center Line Heating & Cooling offers geothermal systems that can reduce monthly heating and cooling bills up to 70% over traditional HVAC systems. With geothermal, you do not have to worry about the unpredictable swings associated with fossil fuel costs. Heating, cooling and getting some (or all) of your hot water from a geothermal heat pump costs less than a traditional HVAC system. If you chose to finance your geothermal system, it can be paid off with the money you’ll save on utility costs. Call Center Line Heating & Cooling today and see how you can benefit from a geothermal heating and cooling system.

In-Floor Heating

In-Floor heating consists of PEX tubing laid under the surface in a series of loops. PEX is polyethylene tubing that’s leak-free, non-toxic, flexible and capable of handling high temperatures. These loops are spaced accordingly and run back to zoned manifold designated for that area of your house. A sensor is installed in the floor with the PEX tubing at each manifold, allowing you to control the amount of in-floor heat in each area of your home separately from programmable thermostats.

Snow Melt Systems

This is a great feature to apply to a steep pitched driveway, walk path up to a house, or where snow removal is difficult due to confined areas and limited space to pile the snow. A typical snow melt system consists of PEX tubing and a heat source (water heater or boiler). When hot water runs through the PEX, it gives off heat and warms the surface which causes snow to melt. The size, layout, and spacing of PEX tubing and water flow are directly correlated to the heat source and square footage of the area tubing is being installed.

Indoor Pool Heat & Dehumidification

Indoor pools and hot tubs can provide countless opportunities for fun filled days with friends and family. Therefore, it is crucial that all the proper safety precautions are made. When a pool is in an enclosed space, numerous factors such as ventilation, air flow, water heating, dehumidification, and many more need to be considered. Just as your pool will need to be maintained to keep it in suitable condition, the air quality in the space will also need to be addressed. Having an indoor pool dehumidifier in the area is imperative or you run the risk of mold (health issues), structural damage, and an uncomfortable environment due to moisture and humidity levels.
